Technology Risk Leadership Award Description

The ISACA New England Tech Risk Leadership Award is based on the MIT CIO Leadership Award to recognize exemplary executives who transform technology risk management into a driver of strategic business value, innovation, and resilience.

The Award winner and finalists will be recognized on Wednesday, September 17, 2025 at the Award Dinner before the ISACA New England Annual Conference, Security Expo and AGM.

 

The Award draws applicants from a wide diversity of industries, countries, and backgrounds. Recipients, and their organizations, receive broad recognition for their accomplishments.  Applicants are welcome from for-profit and not-for-profit organizations, with all assessed on a common set of criteria.  Nominees must be the highest-level technology risk leader in their organizations for their area.  Applicants must present accomplishments related to the applicant’s current position. There is no fee to apply, but we are a volunteer organization, so please nominate only those you feel have a good chance of being named a Finalist.

 

Finalists will be expected to attend the ISACA New England Annual Conference and pre-conference dinner on September 17th and 18th in order to receive the award in person. Finalists will receive complimentary admission to the Conference, but are responsible for their own travel expenses. 

 

2025 Award Timeline

  • Award submissions will open on Monday, June 2, 2025.
  • The application deadline is Monday, June 23, 2025.
  • Finalists will be announced on Tuesday, August 5th, 2025.
  • Award winner will be announced on Sep 17th, 2025.  All Award Finalists will be invited to speak at the Sep 18th, 2025 ISACA NE Annual Conference, Security Expo and AGM.

 

Confidentiality

All award content, including the identity of applicants and the contents of their applications, will be held in strict confidence and used only by the award judges in the judging process.
