Great, We Are in the Cloud. Who Owns and Controls What?: As business software continues to evolve, companies are putting more of their information in the cloud. But, many do not understand who owns what in the cloud. More importantly, who controls what. In this session, we will review the black and white lines around controls in the cloud. Then we'll traverse the gray areas where many companies struggle to understand who has responsibility for their information. Acronyms like GDPR, SOC, ISO 27001/27002, NIST don't need to be murky. Attend this session to learn more about these key standards for controls in the cloud. We will also review the Shared Responsibility Model Microsoft has developed as well to define who owns what controls in the cloud.
