Evaluating AI-Assisted Online Fraud

This talk examines how attackers can utilize large language models (LLMs) and AI agents to autonomously conduct online fraud such as phishing. Research done by Fred demonstrates the dangers of a self-improving phishing bot that automates all five phases of phishing attacks (collecting targets, collecting information about the targets, creating emails, sending emails, and refining attack strategies based on the results). The research also shows how modern AI models can automate the creation and configuration of the surrounding phishing infrastructure.
