The world of emerging technologies, cybersecurity, AI/RPA, and Blockchain is starting to deploy in organizations and government sectors. There is a need for auditors, information security, and control professionals to understand the frameworks, technologies, security controls, and business risks that could impact the organization. The objective of this session is to:

• Provide an understanding of the emerging technologies, specifically Cybersecurity, AI, and Blockchain
• Learn how they are being used and potential ethical issues that may arise
• Identify some of the risk and internal control issues
• Provide an example of assurance/audit programs/audit frameworks that can be used by auditors and/or control professionals
