As the world of emerging technologies is starting to deploy in organizations and government sectors, there is a need for auditors, information security personnel, and control professionals to understand the various frameworks and technologies. This includes required security controls and business risks that could impact the organization. The objectives of this session are to:

• Provide an understanding of the emerging technologies, specifically Cybersecurity, AI, and Blockchain.
• Learn how the emerging technologies are being used and potential ethical issues that may arise.
• Identify some of the risk and internal control issues in emerging technologies.
• Provide examples of assurance, audit programs, and audit frameworks that can be used by auditors and control professionals.
