NJ ISACA's fall Membership Meeting includes keynote speaker Leonard Ong, who will present "Cyber Supply Chain: What Can We Do About It?" Cyber supply chain has a critical role for any organization. One key critical component of the cyber supply chain is software. The threats arising from the compromised approved applications have created notable cyber events impacting enterprises of different scales. With the threat being seen more frequently and damaging in recent times, we have to step up our game in understanding the threat, assessing our existing strategies and controls, and finally adjusting our processes and controls.
Leonard Ong is a Senior Director and Regional Information Security Officer for a global medical technology company. He has worked in healthcare, financial services, and telecommunication sectors in the last 20 years. Leonard is an active volunteer leader and has served in organizations such as ISACA, ASIS International, IAPP and AsiaDPO. He served as ISACA Singapore Chapter President in 2012-2014 and International Board of Directors in 2015-2019. Leonard was recognized with the Paul Williams Inspirational Leadership award by ISACA and inducted into the ISACA Hall of Fame earlier this year.
