About our speaker:
Peter Chew, D.Phil., CPA,CFE is President of Galisteo Consulting Group, Inc., a small consulting company based in Albuquerque. Galisteo specializes in providing consulting services to the Federal government and other organizations in areas ranging from business process streamlining to finance to national security. Peter's background is in data analytics; he has pioneered novel techniques for analysis of text and financial data and has presented and published papers on these techniques in various international conferences and journals.
Peter is a fluent speaker of Russian and lived for a year in Russia in 1990-91, and has studied the Russian language and culture for over 30 years.
Peter has a D.Phil. in computational linguistics from the University of Oxford, and is a Certified Public Accountant and Certified Fraud Examiner; he served on the technical staff in a research and development role at Sandia National Laboratories from 2004-2009 and was a senior manager with Moss Adams LLP from 2009-2011.past_event
