2nd Annual Women in Cybersecurity Event

Hack my Cyber Career!

Insights, toolkits, and practical advice for women in the cybersecurity industry.

The outlook on job opportunities in Cybersecurity continues to boom with a projected growth rate of 31% in the next 10 years1. While the job outlook remains positive, women continue to be underrepresented in IT roles at all levels. The ISACA New York Metropolitan Chapter is committed to extending resources to women in the field and leveraging its professional network to empower women to share their professional stories. Our SheLeadsTech committee is a proud sponsor of this annual event.
This year’s theme “Hack My Cyber Career” brings a diverse, dynamic group of women forging their path in the profession. Our speaker lineup includes women in different stages of their career with diverse perspectives.

  • Danyetta Fleming Magana, CEO, Covenant Security Solutions
  • Taylor Grossman, Cyber Policy Research Analyst, Carnegie Endowment for International Peace.

Following the presentations, our panel discussion titled “Say My Name, Say My Name”, moderated by Krissy Safi, Managing Director, Protiviti evaluates the importance of champions and advocates saying one’s name behind closed doors and taps into the panel’s experiences with mentorship. And yes, we will tap into our inner Beyonce, to kick off this session.
