Cyberpsychology is an emerging field of study that focuses on the impact of technology and the internet on human behavior, emotions, and well-being. In this talk, Anna will provide an overview of cyberpsychology and explore aspects of the field pertaining to cybersecurity, social engineering, and the human element as part of security and government programs. She will in particular dive into how distraction, addictive technologies, and multi-tasking make us susceptible to social engineering attacks. The talk will also explore how different approaches, such as corporate well-being and mindfulness programs can help combat these modern live realities that leave us vulnerable.
