Learn how the payments ecosystem is evolving along with best practices for securing payment-related data and maintaining compliance

Learn to secure payment-related data and maintain compliance through discussion of how to:
- Minimize risk of storing sensitive data in your cardholder data environment using cloud-native tooling and secure key management
- Encrypt sensitive data with strong cryptography and directly test network traffic to ensure proper client / server negotiation; emerging technologies should not be considered as “set it and forget it”
- Evaluate vulnerabilities and rank according to risk using industry and community best practices in addition to CVSS, and move to threat modeling for both existing and new software
- Utilize penetration testing to validate that known vulnerabilities are mitigated and the efficacy of “Zero Trust” where segmentation controls are implemented across application and network layers
- Maintain acknowledgement of security policies and formal written agreements with connected-to service providers to demonstrate PCI compliance, regardless of whether they are required to formally validate compliance
