Following this month’s ISACA North Texas meeting, join ISACA for a two-hour networking event, bringing together cybersecurity professionals to connect, share insights, and explore the expansive 4,000+ member strong ISACA community.
This is a prime opportunity to engage with industry peers, expand your professional network, and uncover resources and support within the ISACA North Texas Chapter. Your ticket to the June in-person meeting also gets you into the Yearend Networking Happy Hour.
Meal Plan: We plan to have light snacks and drinks available, since hearty hors d'oeuvres and beverages will be served during the Networking Happy Hour immediately afterward.
2025-2026 Membership Vote on Chapter Leadership
Each year the Chapter solicits nominations of those individuals interested in serving as a chapter officer. The North Texas Chapter of ISACA Board of Directors is comprised of 10 officers and the three most recent past presidents. The officers are elected each year and work with the appointed volunteers to provide the leadership for the chapter. These are dedicated volunteers who give of their time and energy to enhance and advance the technology assurance, risk management, security and IT governance professions and organize educational meetings and seminars for our membership.
Our bylaws state that annually, the membership must vote on the elected chapter officers. This vote will take place during our June meeting. We have compiled a group of proposed appointed officers below:

Speaker Bios:
Mike Schiller, CISA - has more than 20 years of cybersecurity and IT auditing experience at Fortune 500 companies, both as a technical expert and executive-level leader, and most recently was vice president and chief information security officer at Texas Instruments. He is the author of High Impact at Low Decibels: How Anxiety-Filled Introverts (and others) Can Thrive in the Workplace and IT Auditing: Using Controls to Protect Information Assets. A graduate of Texas A&M University, Mike has spoken at major industry events including CACS and InfoSec World. An anxiety-filled introvert himself, he is passionate about helping others with similar challenges thrive.

Lakshmikanth Reddy Gajjala - Lakshmikanth is a visionary cybersecurity executive with over 18 years of experience at the forefront of digital defense. He possesses a profound understanding of evolving threat landscapes, expertly leveraging his extensive background in vulnerability assessment, penetration testing, and strategic vulnerability management to counter modern adversarial tactics. As a seasoned leader, Lakshmikanth is not only skilled in building and guiding high-performing security teams but also in pioneering innovative service lines designed to address the complex challenges posed by sophisticated, evolving cyber-attacks and emerging threats. He consistently prioritizes organization-wide security and compliance, driving initiatives across critical systems, applications, and data environments.
Speaker 3:
Aman Tara - Aman is an ex-military Major and a qualified attorney. He holds an associate diploma in Software Engineering, Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences and Economics, a degree in Law, and his MBA from Iowa, USA. He is a Certified Information System Auditor, a Certified Data Privacy Solutions Engineer, Certified Fraud Examiner and a Certified Amazon Web Services Cloud Practitioner. He has also done a Cybersecurity course from Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT).
After serving in the military for a decade in various combat and staff roles, he moved to the corporate world in 2011. He has 12 plus years of experience working in the TPRM space for various Fortune 500 companies across the USA and South East Asia. Presently, he is a Senior Manager for one of the world's largest banks, working in their Cybersecurity and TPRM department. He is also on the Board of Directors of quite a few a non-profit organizations, including the North Texas Chapter of ISACA.
He has been featured in articles overseas and invited as speaker for various US based and international seminars. He will be presenting on Digital Assets at the upcoming ISACA Europe Conference in London. He also hosts a live radio show every week in Texas, USA, and has authored his first book “Just Did It.”
