Dr. Dustin Ormond is an associate professor of business intelligence and analytics (BIA) at Creighton University. His research specialties include behavioral information security, affective computing, and deception. Ormond’s scholarship can be found in the Journal of the Association for Information Systems, Computers & Security, Journal of Information Privacy and Security, Information Systems Frontiers, and Journal of Computer Information Systems. A recent article is forthcoming in Jesuit Higher Education on The BlueBox Project. The project, of which he was a chief architect, earned Ormond and his co-creator the 2019 AACSB Innovations that Inspire award. His excellence in the classroom has also been recognized with him receiving both Undergraduate and Graduate Faculty Member of the Year Awards, as well as multiple nominations.
