Data analytics and computer assisted audit techniques are nothing new in the field. For decades the use of analytics has been touted as bringing in a new age of audit, however this has not come to complete fruition. While analytics remain a powerful tool, all too often their efficacy is lost in the complexity of programming, acquiring access to data, and limiting false positives. This webinar will go over some of the best practices in applying analytics in a meaningful and impactful ways, and how to turn complex results into actionable findings that can be easily integrated into the ongoing business process.

Speaker BIO:
Charles is the CEO and founder of River Analytics and Automation inc., and serial entrepreneur who believes in businesses that combine subject matter expertise with technical capability. He is currently a co-owner of notarypro.ca, taxpay, and CTRLmatters, three start-ups with specific domain focus. Charles graduated from McGill University and has an MBA from Ted Rogers School of Management. Previous to his entrepreneurial endeavors Charles' worked for P&G as an innovation manager. Charles also teaches at Telfer School of Management in Ottawa where he lives with his wife and 3 young children.
