Imagine a world without passwords. Think about the possibilities. Without passwords, there is not a central authentication repository that can be breached. Users would not have to create, remember or restore a password. Users would be immune to phishing scams that steal passwords. But how do we authenticate users without a password? There are plenty of passwordless technologies out there but few are in use. The key to going passwordless involves two very important elements – simplicity and security. This session discusses the issues with passwords and offers best practices for deploying passwordless authentication.

Speaker: Joe Skocich is the VP of Global Sales and Marketing at Identité. He has a passion for doing things right. He believes authentication should be simple and secure for everyone, and without passwords. Joe has over 23 years of experience (17 years at IBM) in providing Identity and Access Management (IAM) solutions for companies all over the world. He has also helped companies such as IBM, BMC and other start-ups bring new security products to market. As a founder and board member at Identité, Joe also runs global sales and marketing.
