The IIA-Australia WA Chapter is pleased to present its next event within the Project Assurance Series; lessons learnt from implementing ERP systems. The event is also made available for ISACA members. This event will be taking place on Wednesday, the 25th of November 2020 and will be virtual for ISACA members. 

Join our panel discussion as we talk through how an internal audit function can play a critical role in the provision of assurance services during an ERP implementation, as well as hearing about the challenges of implementing ERP systems and some of the lessons our specialist panel has on the subject matter.

Shane has spent 20 years developing his commercial expertise with a strong history in the mining & metals industry. Over this time, he has grown his skills of Negotiation, Strategic Sourcing, Business Transformation, Management, and Vendor Management and provided vital work to clients such as South32 (Global Technology Category Lead) and Fortescue Metals Group (Commercial Lead).

Justin Eve CA, GC-Mgt, GAICD, Partner, PwC
Justin is a Partner at PwC, leading the Trust & Risk and Assurance Business in WA.  For over 25 years, he has specialised in helping organisations identify and navigate their key Project and Program risks, whether it be capital, back-office function, systems or digital projects. This has also included leading many internal audit programs. Justin is also the Board Chair of the large NFP, the YMCA WA.

Prav Ram, Leader, Enterprise Process & Technology, PwC
Prav is a leader in PwCs Enterprise Process & Technology team and has supported a number of Internal Audit teams to develop and deliver assurance programs over their organisations ERP based transformation programs. He also specialises in ERP GRC, security and control solutions.

Minali Gamage FGIA, AMIIA, CISA, CRISC, MBA, Manager Risk & Assurance, Fortescue Metals Group
Minali has spent her whole career either being an internal auditor, managing internal auditors or being internally audited. Starting her career in the EY Perth Risk Consulting practice provided her with the opportunity to work with organisations in a variety of industries. This included working on the ERP implementations for Rio Tinto (RTIO ABS), Barrick Gold (Oracle) and BHP (1SAP) in various capacities including process mapping, PMO setup, project controls assurance, configurable controls and project risk management.
