Collaboration beats compliance: leading the way to cyber security
Adam Mullet, Associate Partner, IBM Garage

It is happening really quickly: growing cyber threats are changing the way our organisations are structured and staffed. There are so many emerging roles in the field and in coming years the need to continually change will increase. For those tasked with protecting an organisation from threats that are largely invisible and unfathomable to the majority of the workforce, how do you lead people to change their behaviour and protect systems and intellectual property?

So far, cyber security has held a trump card and largely enjoyed clear access in getting after what it needs to do. However, the job is never done and threats can't be mitigated unless every staff member is up to speed on the potential attacks. Your team cannot do it alone.

So, how do you influence others and get them to collaborate with you on cyber security, rather than simply comply with the bare minimum? From this talk, you will get some practical ideas and techniques you can take back to your organisation to start working more closely with others you need in order to succeed.
