As part of the initiatives of ISACA Puerto Rico & West Florida Chapters, and to establish greater presence and awareness about the association in the universities, we are working to execute our “IT Bowl” for the FOURTH time. This is a university competition of business cases oriented to information systems, which expose problems, risks and challenges in information technologies (IT) for a fictitious company, which requires student's collaborative work to present possible solutions. This competition seeks to evaluate how undergraduate and graduate students interpret a “business case,” identify the problems presented, evaluate the implications and risks, and identify one or more solutions for each case. In this fourth edition we will be presenting a business case to university teams. This event will provide students with the opportunity to be interviewed by one of the event sponsors who are looking for internships or job opportunities. The event will be held in person at the UPR Río Piedras Campus (UPRRP). Students will present their analyses through the Zoom platform on Saturday, April 6, 2024 at 12pm.
