Security & Compliance: The Top 5 Things that Changed Completely with COVID

After a year of the pandemic, what we thought would be a temporary season of remote work became the new normal. The world as we knew it has changed forever. That particular change of habits brought an immense impact and accelerated the rhythm of Digital Transformation even with companies that were lagging. At the same time, we were exposed to a myriad of the challenges, risks and threats that were not part of our daily routines in terms of Security, Auditing, and Compliance. Add to those changes the new world of AI, GDPR, Social Unrest, Deep Fakes, Internet of Things and Social Media, and you find some conversations that many companies and professionals have not yet had, but that are changing the game for the new world of Security & Compliance. During this session, we will highlight 5 of the things that changed forever within the scope of Security and Compliance – not all of them are comfortable to talk about and that is *exactly* what we want to do – make sure we identify, assess, talk and ensure we have actionable insights coming from the learnings in these last 12 months.
