Many companies that did not typically allow work from home allowed a large percentage of their workforce home due to the pandemic. Some of them faced VPN capacity problems and other infrastructure issues. With the endpoints out of the corporate network for months, patching, antivirus update, and support became problematic for many. Support issues also escalated. Security challenges went up as well.
