What Started in Vegas, Didn't Stay in Vegas
Date: Tuesday, April 8, 2025, from 12:00pm - 1:00pm PT
William Livolsi, Jr., Executive Director, Progressive Prison Ministries, Inc. and White Collar Support Group, will be presenting his personal experiences. With what started in Vegas, didn’t stay in Vegas is part romance scam, part identity theft, part document counterfeiting, and part Ponzi scheme – but most of all it is a drama that embroiled an entire family for over 20 years. The consequences of Bill's decisions are still being felt today. In a time of a personal family crisis, Bill took receipt of investor money on behalf of his wife (now ex-wife) and he used those funds to pay off her prior investors - a decision that ultimately led to his guilty plea for wire fraud. Long before his illegal decisions, there were glaring red flags in her business—and in his personal life—that he missed or, worse yet, chose to ignore. All the evidence was there. This presentation will explore the details that he now understands in ways he couldn’t at the time.
