Over the years, best-practice frameworks have been developed and promoted to assist in the process of understanding, designing and implementing enterprise governance of IT (EGIT).   • Prepare for the COBIT 2019 Foundation examThe COBIT 2019 Foundation Certificate Exam is an online, closed-book, remotely proctored exam. The exam covers eight domains and includes a total of 75 questions. The exam will test a candidate’s understanding of the topics and those that achieve a passing score on the COBIT 2019 Foundation exam receive the COBIT 2019 Foundation Certificate.

    Mr. Avinash W. Kadam

    Mr. Kadam is a leading authority on Information Security and IT Governance. He has more than five decades of experience in Information Technology Management and Governance, Information Systems Audit, Information Security Consulting and Training.
    Mr. Kadam has served as a Vice President of ISACA International Board for two years from 2006 to 2008. He was President of ISACA Mumbai Chapter from 1998 to 2000. He is the recipient of ISACA’s Harold Weiss Award for 2005, “Given to Recognize Dedication to the IS Audit, Control and Security Profession”.
    Mr. Kadam has written several articles about COBIT 5 and co-authored a publication “Securing Sensitive Personal Data or Information under India’s IT Act Using COBIT 5”. He was a project coordinator and advisor for another publication from ISACA - “RBI Guidelines Mapping with COBIT5”. He was an approved trainer for COBIT 5 and conducted a number of training programs for COBIT 5 Foundation, Assessor and Implementer.
    He holds B.E. (Mechanical), A.M.I.E. (Electronics and Telecommunication) and M.F.M. (Master in Financial Management) degrees and a string of information security certificates that he also teaches.
