Speaker: Justin Seitz

Topic: If You Lie, I Will Find You!

Overview:

DNA degrades. Firearms analysis is a junk science. Bitemark analysis, the fan-favoured method for matching perpetrators to their victims? Eviscerated as a non-science. But digital evidence is different, it can be tested repeatedly, transmitted to other parties and immortalized through byte-for-byte backups. So why are auditors, police officers, and technicians alike still screwing it up so badly? Follow Justin Seitz as he uses real world examples of how digital lies have stripped people of their freedom, left corporations open to litigation and has shown vast gaps in corporate governance that can easily be closed should people be willing to stand up to it.

Speaker’s Bio:

Justin Seitz is co-founder and advisor at Permanent Record Research, delivering intelligence-infused advisory and consulting services, technical support, and compelling content. With a notable background in technology, spanning startups, products, offensive security, and OSINT, Justin now focuses on advocacy, expert testimony and advisory. His expertise and practical insights can be found on Substack and in his books, empowering individuals and organizations. He is based in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan where him and his family and four pets call home.
