Session 0 - Professional Development: How to become an accredited ISACA trainer - In Person Only [1200 to 1300]

This session will cover the steps you need to complete to become a global ISACA trainer.  We will discuss all the steps in the process to complete the global trainer accreditation process.  Lastly, we will discuss how you can expand your scope as a Global Trainer.

Sessions 1 - NC Army National Guard - Incident Response & Threat Intelligence [1300-1430]

Speaker: Jonathan Edradan

Jonathan M. Edradan serves as Cyber Threat Intelligence Analyst and Cyberspace Defense Warrant Officer with the North Carolina Army National Guard’s Cyber Security Response Force (CSRF). He brings prior active duty and government experience as a Human Intelligence (HUMINT) professional, along with hands-on incident response leadership, to deliver actionable threat intelligence and briefings for state, county, and military partners. His work covers ransomware trends, AI threats, OSINT, and real-world cyber incidents, strengthening North Carolina’s defenses in coordination with military, state, and federal agencies.

Session 2 - Strengthening Your Human Perimeter: Boundary Setting For Sustainable Cybersecurity Work [1445-1615]

Cybersecurity professionals operate in high-stakes, high-velocity environments where constant threats, on-call expectations, and rapid incident response cycles create a perfect storm for burnout. While organizations invest heavily in technical security controls, the most overlooked resilience tool is human: the ability to set and maintain healthy boundaries. This session explores boundary-setting as a core professional competency—one that strengthens focus, reduces cognitive overload, and increases long-term performance.

Through a blend of evidence-based strategies and cybersecurity-specific scenarios, participants will learn how to identify where their personal and professional boundaries are eroding, communicate those boundaries effectively, and build habits that protect their well-being without compromising mission-critical work. Attendees will walk away with practical tools they can apply immediately to maintain their energy, improve team dynamics, and create a culture where sustainable excellence is not only possible but expected.
