This is a one-day workshop (delivered online over 2-days) for auditors and security teams responsible for security and compliance of their Azure resources hosted in IaaS and PaaS environments. This course will provide students with knowledge and practical skills to audit Azure governance, compliance and security of resources hosted in Azure environment, using Azure native, baked-in tools. This workshop will emphasize Azure integrated security, compliance, audit and monitoring capabilities for Azure hosted resources, and their extensibility to resources hosted in hybrid environments (Azure + on-prem + other cloud), to automate and better integrate organization’s protection and compliance. This course is designed with real world scenarios in mind to provide practical, effective approaches for asking and answering compliance questions, auditing Azure environments; practitioner approach to continuous audit, monitoring and security. At the end of the course student will be able to effectively audit Azure environment configuration and document organization compliance with industry standards; improve security of the environment and implement basic continuous audit and monitoring of the organization’s Azure and hybrid hosted resources. Students will also learn practical tips about why in Cloud security monitoring or Cloud audit engagements, automated approaches and proper tools are a must.

Audience profile: This course is intended for IT professional, managers, system administrators, cybersecurity teams and auditors responsible for managing, security monitoring and auditing of Azure (and hybrid) environments.
