The webinar will review the foundations of data and analytics within the Audit Lifecycle. Specifically, the presentation will include the fundamentals of accessing relevant data within an organization, the effective use of that data in an auditing, as well as implementing data analytics in audit procedures. Mr. Burman will provide a case study walk through demonstrating the application of data and analytics within an audit context exemplifying best practices, challenges and measurable outcomes

Speaker Bio:

Anthony Burman is a manager in PwC’s Health Industries Data & Technology practice, where he has a focus on bringing new technology solutions to clients. Anthony was previously a part of PwC’s external and internal audit practices, where he executed SOX, SOC, and operational audits, as well as SOX readiness assessments in a variety of industries. This experience allows him to bring an understanding of risk and controls to technology, automation, and AI to create sustainable solutions within an organization’s control and compliance environment. Outside of PwC, Anthony has experience implementing analytics within both professional and collegiate baseball, which helped him develop the passion he has today for working with organizations to help change how they work.
