| Chapter Board Election & Request for Nominations (1 CPE) |

| Dear Member, |
In accordance with the ISACA Silicon Valley (SV) Chapter Bylaws, we will be conducting Board Elections for the next two year term (1/1/2022 - 12/31/2023) at the Annual General Meeting and Member Holiday Event on Thursday, 12/9/2021 at Sakoon restaurant in Fremont, CA.
Only ISACA SV chapter members can vote in the election. Please arrive promptly (by 6:00 p.m. on 12/9/2021), as each attendee who wishes to vote must be verified at the time of check-in.
We encourage you to consider serving on the Board of Directors. If you are interested in serving as an ISACA SV Board member, please email nominatingcommittee@isaca-sv.org for application information. A complete application packet must be received by the Nominating Committee at least three days prior to the AGM (i.e., by 6 pm PST on 12/06/2021). You can find the complete listing of Board positions, requirements for nomination and associated duties for each Board position in the Chapter Bylaws.

| Additionally, please note the following items, as mentioned in Article VII of the Bylaws: |
- Candidates shall not be permitted to nominate themselves for multiple positions.
- Candidate must have previously demonstrated support to Chapter activities as a volunteer. The Nomination Committee will require evidence and will validate the successfully completed volunteer work with any one of the Current Board members. The current Chapter Board may waive this requirement for any deserving candidate.
- Candidate nominating for the President position must have served on the Chapter’s Board of Directors. The current Chapter Board may waive this requirement for any deserving candidate.
- All candidates must be members and each candidate shall have consented to serve and shall have completed a Willingness to Serve agreement and Conflict of Interest declaration form.
