Speaker Bio:
Shin Adachi is a security professional and consultant for decades with extensive global experience in the Eastcoast and Westcoast of the United, States, Japan, Europe and Asia Pacific before he settled here in South Bay Area. For his consulting clients, he currently focuses on incident response and management, and vulnerability and threats analysis for preparedness, as a firefighter in cyber.
He has been actively working in FIRST community, or Forum of Incident Response and Security Teams, a global consortium for computer security incident responders. He chaired FIRST Education Committee. Also he served EU Agency for Cybersecurity, aka ENISA as a member of their Cyber Threats Landscape Working groups for years. He has also spoken at, or contributed to other global forums including ENISA, NIST, Liberty Alliance, ITU-T, Infosec Taiwan, and Asia PKI Consortium. He holds CISA, CISA, CISSP, CCSP, and PMP.
