Effective Automation Execution
Summary:

The use of automation tools has the potential to further drive efficiencies in the workforce. This can be achieved through elimination or reduction of manual, time-consuming, and rule-based tasks. A successfully executed automation program will ensure staff members can be liberated from less-value-add activities and have the ability and freedom to focus on driving value to the core business.

Within this session, we will review common pitfalls during an automation implementation program, and introduce accelerators and guiderails which can increase the probability of project success. Additionally, the session will walkthrough the following key stages in an automation initiative:

1. Defining automation program governance

2. Establish selection criterion for new automation opportunities

3. Design automation architecture

4. Execution & review effectiveness Participants will gain an understanding of the fallacies of automation, and key decision points which will enable successful automation programs. This will help participates review, influence, or participate in automation programs within their parent organizations, and drive future value.
