Bob Herman

Bob is a Director with over 23 years of experience assessing, designing, and implementing internal control and process improvement solutions. As the leader of RSM’s Risk Consulting Intelligent and Robotics Process Automation practice, Bob is tasked with helping both RSM and our clients become more "digital" as it relates to the assessment and performance of internal controls. Bob has been trained on several RPA tools and methodologies and has been involved in a significant number of RPA implementations in the areas of controls performance and controls validation to help improve and automate repetitive tasks performed by the 1st, 2nd and 3rd lines of defense. He also has experience in most industries including industrial products, retail and consumer, banking, pharmaceutical, energy, and high tech. Bob has spoken at multiple conferences and training sessions on the topic of SAP security and controls, project assurance and intelligent and robotics process automation.

Alexandra M. Lorié

Alexandra has a diverse background in technology governance, risk and compliance, coupled with an upbringing in development, system integration, and implementation. In her 20-year career in professional services, Alexandra specializes in assessing and developing IT processes and internal control programs, and conducting IT risk assessments to support regulatory requirements and operational process improvement needs. As a Director and RSM’s South Florida technology risk lead, Alexandra helps clients reduce compliance risk by identifying, assessing, and providing solutions to address critical and emerging technology risks. Alexandra is also one of the developers of RSM’s Robotics Process Automation (RPA) risk and control assessment framework, and is involved in authoring training content and facilitating training sessions to clients and employees

Jamie Burgess

Jamie is a risk consulting professional with over 17 years of experience, and is RSM’s RPA National Risk Consulting Sponsor. She is experienced in enhancing the reliability of processes and systems to better manage and control risk within the business enterprise. Her primary responsibilities are to provide consulting services focusing on clients’ business and information technology needs, including strategy, compliance, risk management and audit services.
