Last August, we invited Major General Earl D. Matthews, U.S. Air Force (Ret.). to discuss impacts of cybersecurity breaches and defined steps to understand and manage company cyber risks. At the end of the session, we had an open discussion session, and because of the extraordinary opportunity to ask questions of someone like the General, there were far more questions than could be answered in the time allowed. Major General Matthews is Senior Vice President and Chief Strategy Officer for Mandiant Security Validation (formerly Verodin). Prior to joining Verodin, Matthews served as Vice President and General Manager of Enterprise Security Solutions for DXC Technology, the world’s leading independent end-to-end IT services and solutions company. In this role, Matthews delivered strategic, end-to-end solutions to help clients anticipate, overcome and reduce security threats.
