Welcome to an exciting evening at Stena Danmarksterminalen in Göteborg, where we will learn about Cyber Security and the board and the challenges and opportunities for your organization.
Stena AB will be the much appreciated host for this event.

Agenda
Session 1: “Wuthering Heights of being on the board and why doesn't the board care ... or is it the other way around?“ (Session is in English)

What are the triggers for a board member to enable IT and information/cyber security to generate value for the organization? This session will outline a model developed by ISACA Sweden chapter together with IIA Sweden to elevate to the wuthering heights of the boards perspective to enable IT to deliver on it's targets. As a professional within IT and Information-/cybersecurity you want to be invited into the discussion with the board, while the board still needs to keep a distance to be able to govern. For board members it means keeping "hands-off" from operations. As a specialist you will have a hard time to gain the deserved attention and to be "let into the window" of board meetings.

Effective board communication on cybersecurity is a high-stakes challenge. CISOs must strike a delicate balance—providing enough detail to convey risk without overwhelming non-technical board members, and at the same time be able to stand tall while presenting sensitive and hard truths.
