Session Overview

The introduction of the next generation of mobile network technology, 5G, will exponentially transform organizations across industries and geographies. It will enable an astonishing range of innovative new products and services and offers the promise of significant economic and social benefits as well. 5G offers unprecedented connectivity and data collection capabilities that could enable new technologies. However, it will also enable disruptive technologies; create new challenges for collecting, managing, deciphering, and protecting data; and change the cybersecurity landscape.

Join us for an engaging session where we will explore 5G implications for organizations and internal audit (including cybersecurity and privacy). This will include what organizations need to know in order to prepare, how internal audit can support its organization in preparing for the launch of 5G, as well as what is needed from an ongoing monitoring perspective.
