The Cyber Threat Landscape Today: Deepening Global Divisions Drive Cyberattacks

nationalism and the populist wave, protectionism and trade wars, deepening divisions and rising geopolitical tensions - 2018 was another rollercoaster of a year, with significant cyber implications. Marcus Troiano and John Atrache will share tales from the front lines of the many breach investigations Mandiant has led around the globe, highlighting key observed trends in attacker behaviour, and sharing important insights to keep your organizations resilient in the face of increasing threat.

Marcus Troiano and John Atrache will be presenting at the March ISACA meeting in Toronto. This session is free for members to attend, a CPE will be issued to attendees. 

Marcus is a Cybersecurity Strategy Advisor with a focus on providing innovative solutions to the complex security challenges his clients face. He has led and delivered cybersecurity strategy development and transformation projects for leading organizations and governments in Canada, the United States, Latin America, Europe, and Asia. John is a Cybersecurity Incident Responder and Strategic Advisor who works closely with organizations in responding to major data and helps proactively prepare them in effectively responding to security incidents. He has managed and delivered cybersecurity assessments, executive and technical tabletop exercises, cyber center transformational work, and enterprise incident response training for government agencies and organizations across several industries and regions.

Marcus and John are based in Toronto, Canada, and work for Mandiant, a FireEye Company, a leader in helping organizations respond to, and proactively protect advanced cybersecurity threats.”
