Blockchain - future catalyst for Digital Transformation

When:  Jun 20, 2019 from 09:30 to 13:00 (ET)
Associated with  Toronto Chapter

Session Description:

This is a unique and interactive session on Blockchain, designed and presented by the ISACA Toronto Chapter at the K/W location especially for the benefit of our members. As you walk into the session, there is no prior knowledge or understanding of Blockchain required from you. As you walk out of the session, you'll be  able to hold intelligent conversations on the topic with your peers. At this session, you will be immersed in a part-lecture part-interactive session where you will learn about blockchain in simple terms and will further be provided with a hands on experience in a simulated game environment, where the future auto industry and roadworks has been digitally transformed via blockchain. In this simulation, you will experience blockchain through role playing and will see how your future self, 20 years from now, might engage in different tasks and activities required for a car buying and driving experience while always being connected to a central blockchain. In so doing, you will learn about blockchain by actually interacting with a blockchain, while always being entertained and learning through fun.   Requirement: you must bring your laptop to take full advantage of the simulated game environment.
