'Presentation-Discussion' session for ISACA Trivandrum members - on India's new 'Non-Personal Data governance framework'.
Personal data regulation in the form of PDP bill is about to become an act. Data that is not included in PDP, pure Non-Personal data and anonymised personal data, also needs legal oversight for equitable availability and use within India.
A nine member committee of experts headed by 'Kris' Gopalakrishnan, were put to the task by GoI. The committee has published a 'Non-Personal Data Governance Framework'

The proposed legislation will have far reaching implications to data protection in the country and will be of interest to people from diverse walks of life because of its scope.
The attempt will be to introduce these emerging thoughts to the esteemed members of ISACA Trivandrum.
