Enterprises are adopting AI at scale, spanning RAG chatbots to agentic systems that plan and execute tasks across enterprise tools. This session provides ISACA professionals with structure to ensure these capabilities are safe, compliant, and auditable. We will distinguish generative AI, reasoning and chain-of-thought behaviors, chatbots versus agentic systems, and personal assistants versus workflow orchestration - clarifying where risk is introduced and which controls are most effective.

Building on this taxonomy, we will discuss AI Security Posture Management (AISPM): continuous monitoring, risk identification, data protection, integrations with cloud services enforcing least privilege, and the construction and maintenance of an AI Bill of Materials (AI-BOM). Participants will gain an enhanced understanding of AI architectures, a disciplined method for evaluating risk, and practical criteria for identifying and implementing proportionate security controls and safeguards. The meeting is on October 2, 2025, from 11:30 AM to 1:00 PM (Central Time) at the Bank of Oklahoma Financial Operations Center.
