Join us for an exciting day filled with IT Auditors and prominent thought leaders as they share their unique perspectives and experiences in leading their organizations through technology changes.  This event includes individual presentations and a panel discussion.

9:00am - 10:15am - Cybersecurity incident preparedness and readiness

The presentation will cover the importance of being prepared not only before a cyber incident happens, but also best practices on how to manage and handle a cyber incident after it occurs.

The speakers will go into details about conducting security and IT vulnerability assessments and the importance of incident preparedness and readiness. We will share a real cyber incident that our team has recently dealt with, including the impact it had, the steps taken, the resolution of the incident and lessons learned. The session will aim to provide the audience with best practices on building cyber resilience and how to maintain an effective security program.

During this session, the speakers will discuss how audit plans are tailored to cover the elevated requirements of cybersecurity, and the more complicated challenges entities are facing regarding cybersecurity issues.

The privacy session will discuss privacy legislative requirements as well as audit requirements.  The speaker will discuss strategies that auditors can use when conducting a Privacy Impact Assessment and a Privacy Gap Assessment, as well as compliance tools to ensure compliance with current legislation.
