ISACA Victoria is pleased to present William Hetherington as he discusses the hot topic of Pushing Left; Security in the Software Development Life Cycle.

As Operational and Development teams come closer together in modern software development, William will talk about introducing Security design to every stage of the SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) and how disparate teams can support each other in delivering secure projects.

Speaker Bio

William Hetherington has been working in the IT industry for 15 years mostly in an Operational Capacity, supporting software development teams to build resilient systems. A contributor to many open source projects, William is currently working with an organization in downtown Victoria introducing a DevOps mindset amongst development teams.

CPE

This event is eligible for 1.5 CPE credits for ISACA and may be eligible for CPE credits with other professional organizations.

Cancellation Policy

You must cancel by Friday prior to the event to avoid cancellation fees. ISACA Victoria Chapter must pay the Union Club the full cost for all registrations, regardless of whether there is a late cancellation or ‘no show’. If you cannot cancel your registration prior to the Friday before the event or are unable to arrange for a substitute, you will be required to reimburse the Chapter and will be invoiced accordingly.
