Presentation Overview
In this presentation, the speakers will discuss their real-world experience from multiple breaches spanning different cloud service providers in order to identify common pitfalls that can be avoided. The governance and technical best practices covered in this talk are based on real-world incidents and cloud assessments that both of the presenters have had the opportunity to work on.

Neil Karan is a Senior Manager for Mandiant and leads the Western Canada team where he aids companies in developing and transforming their cyber security programs to better prevent, detect and respond to information security incidents.
Dylan Marcoux is a Senior Consultant within Mandiant’s Canadian team. Dylan brings a strong yet diverse technical skillset to his role at Mandiant. Using his education, training, and experience, Dylan combines these to assist organizations to better prevent, detect and respond to the latest cyber security threats.
