As we see the increase of Cyber Attacks be it Ransomware, Business Email Compromises, Network Intrusions, the list goes on. Working as a Manager of Incident Response for 7 months with a Digital Forensics Incident Response company working on 20 new cases personally per month, I was able to see the entire incident life cycle from a live attack happening in real time to restoring an organizations Business Continuity. In this presentation I will cover what I have learned to help organizations be more proactive in their security posture and be able to respond faster to potential active threats.
