Description:

ISACA is seeking early career professionals (students, young professionals, career changers, etc.)  to participate in a virtual Task Force to advise and share feedback on their career experiences, professional development needs, and how ISACA can better support emerging and early-career professionals. This opportunity will establish a young professional Task Force to provide ongoing input on programs, resources, products, and offerings.. 

 

Anticipated outcomes:

  • Gather feedback from early career professionals on their career journeys, challenges, and development needs.  
  • Identify key themes related to career growth, professional support, skills development, and engagement opportunities.  
  • Better understand how ISACA can support early-career and emerging professionals through products, resources, programs, and experiences.  
  • Collect input on products in development, preferred learning methods, career development tools, and community engagement opportunities.  
  • Help inform future strategies, offerings, and initiatives focused on young professional audiences.  
  • Establish a group of emerging professionals who may serve in an advisory capacity for future feedback and engagement opportunities. 

 

Volunteer Criteria: 

  •  Early-career professional individuals interested in sharing feedback on career development and professional growth. 
  • Interest in contributing thoughtful input on how ISACA can better support emerging professionals.  
  • Willingness to share personal perspectives and experiences related to career journeys, learning needs, and professional engagement.  
  • Ability to participate in virtual discussions and provide constructive feedback in a group setting.  
  • Basic conversational familiarity with the English language to discuss and provide feedback.  
  • Stable internet connection to support virtual participation.  
  • ISACA Membership not required.  
  • ISACA certifications not required.  
  • No prior volunteer experience required.  

Volunteer benefits:  

  • Up to 6 CPE credits (max. 20 annually) in the area of Working on ISACA Boards/Committees/Working Groups upon successful completion of the term.
