2026 ISACA Membership Experience Research

ISACA is recruiting members for targeted one-on-one interviews about the value of ISACA membership, including what membership provides beyond certification, which benefits members use or do not use, and what would make membership feel more essential. The interviews will help identify practical opportunities to strengthen the membership experience. 

Space is limited; not everyone who applies will be selected to participate. 

Anticipated outcomes:

• Clarify the distinct value of membership compared with certification and credential maintenance.  
• Identify which membership benefits create realized value, which remain unused, and why.  
• Understand how membership expectations and needs differ by career stage, tenure, certification status, payment source, geography, and level of engagement.  
• Identify the changes most likely to strengthen satisfaction, renewal intent, and the independent value proposition for membership.  
• Translate member perspectives into actionable recommendations for membership offerings, communications, onboarding, chapters, and engagement strategy.
• This research will be conducted by Highland Solutions, a trusted research vendor for ISACA, under direct supervision of ISACA staff. 
• Selected volunteers will participate in one virtual interview conducted in English.  
• Interviews will be scheduled at a mutually convenient time and recorded for research purposes only.  
• Participants should be willing to discuss both positive and negative experiences candidly and provide specific examples from the past year.

Volunteer Criteria: 

• Able to complete a virtual interview in English and consent to recording for research purposes. 
• Has enough familiarity with membership to discuss expectations, use or non-use of benefits, and renewal considerations.  
• ISACA Membership not required.
• ISACA Certification not required 

Volunteer benefits:  

•  Volunteers who are selected and complete the interview will receive a $100 eGift card honorarium.   
• Contribute directly to decisions about the future membership experience and help ISACA better serve members with different career stages, needs, and patterns of engagement.
