Description:

ISACA is developing a CMMC Certified Assessor (CCA) Review Manual for professionals with the advanced skills to perform CMMC level 2 assessments. Volunteers will assist ISACA’s Credentialing Review Materials team in its development to support exam candidates in preparation for the CMMC Certified Assessor exam. Volunteers review an assigned chapter for the CMMC Certified Assessor Review Manual and provide feedback for improvements.  

 

Anticipated outcomes: 

Volunteers will provide SME expertise to ensure that the CMMC Certified Assessor Review Manual is accurate and relevant, and provide suggestions for improvement. Deliverables include: 

  •  CMMC Certified Assessor Review Manual 

Volunteer Criteria: 

  • Fluency in English (written, verbal skills) 
  • Experience in performing CMMC Level 2 Assessments as part of a C3PAO assessment team or consulting on CMMC Level 2 Assessments
  • Knowledge of the required roles, responsibilities and knowledge base of CCAs and CMMC Assessment Teams.
  • Secure and stable internet connection and ability to use Adobe Acrobat
  • CCA or Lead CCA certification
  • May not have served on the CCA Exam Item Development Working Group or CCA Certification Working Group  

  Preferred:  

  • Training and education experience (i.e., CCI/PI)
  • Geographic area distribution 
  • Industry distribution  

 

Volunteer benefits:  

  • Up to 20 CPE credits (max. 20 annually) in the area of Working on ISACA Boards/Committees/Working. This activity is aligned to an Exam Content Outline (ECO).
