Description:

Volunteers are needed to review multiple ISACA publications in various languages, included in the list below. Assignments will be made based on availability, criteria, and timing. Please review the “Volunteer Criteria” section for more details.

Eligible applications will be accepted on a rolling basis and assignments made based on the remaining availability for each publication. Deadlines are approximately two weeks from receiving the assignment but may vary per publication and will be communicated by the staff facilitator.

Anticipated outcomes:

  • Reviewers will support the development and accuracy of multiple publications translated from English into Brazilian Portuguese, German, or Korean. These activities directly support ISACA stakeholders who study and consume content in the specified languages.
  • Content assignments will be made by ISACA staff based on applicant eligibility and available remaining spots for the content and language.

Volunteer Criteria:

  • Current CISA/CRISC/CDPSE certification to review certification-related material.
  • May not have served on a CISA/CRISC/CDPSE Working Group or CISA/CRISC/CDPSE Exam Item Development Working Group in the last 3 years if reviewing related material.
  • Fluency between English and Brazilian Portuguese/German/Korean (reading/writing) as required.
  • Previous translation review experience preferred but not required.
  • ISACA membership required.

Volunteer benefits:

  • CPE hours may be self-claimed by volunteers holding ISACA certifications upon completion of the translation review. 1 CPE credit per active hour of translation review may be submitted via MyISACA in the area of Contributions to the Profession, up to the 20 CPE annual maximum for that qualifying activity.
