2020 ISACA Member Advantage Program Task Force

Beyond your career, ISACA Member Advantage also rewards you with special offers, perks and programs that can make your professional life easier and even enhance your personal life. ISACA seeks to expand the offerings and increase the value of joining the organization. To do so, volunteers are needed to recommend new offerings at a global level, identify specific companies as prospective partners and facilitate introductions for the ISACA membership team to negotiate partnerships.

Anticipated outcomes:

The ISACA Member Advantage Task Force will support the development of new savings opportunities to be added to the Member Advantage portfolio. To do that, the group will:

• Conduct monthly conference calls to brainstorm ideas, share best practices and discuss updates.

• Individually identify companies/products they think the membership would appreciate and either:
  • Put the ISACA Membership team in contact with the decision maker to attempt to negotiate a savings opportunity, or
  • Negotiate the deal at their local Chapter level (with approval from the chapter board) and make it available for ISACA Global to share with the broader membership.

Volunteer Criteria:

• ISACA membership
• Awareness of the current ISACA Member Advantage program
• Diverse geographic representation required
• Comfort networking and a desire to increase member benefits for the whole ISACA membership base
• Ability to connect to teleconferences (approximately monthly) and work between meetings over email

Volunteer benefits:

• Up to 10 CPE credits (max. 20 annually) in the area of Working on ISACA Boards/Committees/Working Groups upon successful completion of the term.
• Ability to influence the global member benefits portfolio – specifically, discounted programs and products ISACA members enjoy through the ISACA Member Advantage program.
