Description of opportunity or charge of the working group:

This group of volunteers will participate in the review of a lookup tool that shows commonality across various privacy laws and regulations.

Anticipated outcomes:

The volunteers will review a draft of a tool that looks at the topics covered by various privacy laws and regulations. The tool contains articles/clauses of privacy laws and regulations that are mapped to an overall “spine” of common topics across privacy laws and regulations. Participants will not need to review each law/regulation in the tool; they are asked to only review the laws/regulations with which they are most familiar.

Volunteer Criteria:

Current knowledge of and experience in privacy.
Familiarity with privacy laws and regulations.
ISACA membership not required.

Volunteer benefits:

Up to 5 CPE credits (max. 20 annually) in the area of Contributions to the Profession upon successful completion of the review.
