Description:

This group of volunteers will participate in the review of an audit program on Microsoft Azure. The group’s deliverable will consist of feedback on the technical accuracy of the audit program’s content as well as assessment of whether the audit program’s controls and test steps are aligned with current best practices.

Anticipated outcomes:

The volunteers will support the delivery of an audit program on the topic of Microsoft Azure by reviewing a draft audit program for:

  • Technical accuracy; and
  • Alignment with current best practices

It is expected that the draft document will be available for review by mid-June 2020. Volunteer reviewers will have a couple weeks to complete their reviews and to provide feedback to the ISACA IT Audit Professional Practices Lead. The timeline may adjust depending on production schedule.

Volunteer Criteria:

  • Current knowledge of and experience auditing/working with Azure.
  • Knowledge of audit and cloud security best practices and frameworks.
  • Experience performing and writing IT audit programs.
  • CISA certification required.
  • Geographic area representation preferred.
  • ISACA membership not required.

Volunteer benefits:

  • Up to 4 CPE credits (max. 20 annually) in the area of Contributions to the Profession upon successful completion of the review.
