Description:

This opportunity is extended to non-members who hold at least one ISACA certification and to ISACA members. Note: not all volunteers will be chosen to participate. Participants are needed for a 1-hour telephone or Microsoft Teams interview scheduled at a time convenient for you with an ISACA staff member. During this interview ISACA aims to better understand how you would engage with a professional development program from ISACA, what types of goals you would most like to work on through this program, and what type of structure would best meet your needs.

Anticipated outcomes:

Specific outcomes this in-depth interview format is looking for: 

  • Participating in a 60-minute one-on-one Q&A session  
  • Understanding how respondents would want to interact with a mentorship program
  • Understanding of what type of goals respondents would want to work on in a mentorship program
  • In addition to the 60-minute conversation, it would be helpful if ISACA could reach out again to respondents with any further questions if needed 
  • It is anticipated that interviews will be scheduled between 17 June and 15 July based on the availability of the participants.

Volunteer Criteria:

  • Interest in participating in ISACA mentorship program as mentee or mentor
  • Membership or certification required
  • Ability to connect to teleconference or Microsoft Teams meeting for interview
  • Previous experience in virtual mentorship program as mentor or mentee appreciated but not required
  • Fluency in English for phone discussion.

    Volunteer benefits:

    • Up to 1 CPE credit (max. 20 annually) in the area of Contributions to the Profession upon successful completion of the term
