Description:

The SheLeadsTech Special Interest Group Offers an interactive online community of individuals who seek to increase the representation of women in technology leadership roles and the tech workforce. The Content Guides are responsible for ensuring that all discussions are on relevant, productive, and meet ISACA’s professional conduct standards.

 

Anticipated outcomes:

  • Content Guides should be available to respond to inquiries or engage others in finding solutions to their professional needs. Suggestions for maintaining productive engagement include posting questions, sharing articles from ISACA or other public sites, and encouraging the exchange of ideas in a professional manner.
  • Content Guides should log into the online forum a minimum of once per week and should anticipate spending an average of one hour per week reviewing the discussion threads and library uploads.
  • Content Guides should understand the community guidelines and report questionable content to ISACA.

 

Volunteer Criteria/Composition needed:

  • Ability to engage individuals and maintain discussion threads in a professional manner.
  • Confidence in monitoring content posted in the forum and flagging any content deemed unacceptable (e.g. inappropriate language, advertising, potential IP infringement.)
  • Stable internet connection to log into the special interest group at least once per week.
  • Interest in interacting with your peers from around the world, sharing your expertise, and seeking advice from colleagues around ISACA.
  • Must make certain aspects of your Engage profile visible to community members. This includes: Name, Certifications, Country, Ribbons, Send Message, Include in Member Roster. Recommended profile fields (not required) to make visible include company, title, add as contact, social media links.
  • ISACA membership is preferred but not required.
  • Member of the SheLeadsTech Special Interest Group

 

Volunteer benefits:

  • Up to 15 CPE credits (max 20 annually) in the area of Contributions to the Profession for those that currently hold an ISACA certification. CPE hours will post upon successful completion of the term.
  • Recognition within the ISACA online forum and within your forum profile as a Content Guide.
  • Advocate for building a strong female workforce in the tech industry.
