This notice to all members advises that the 35th Annual General Meeting of the Wellington Chapter of ISACA, being ISACA Wellington Inc., will be held on Friday 29 March 2019, commencing at 13:00 (1:00 pm).

A free light lunch will be provided prior to the meeting. Anticipated lunch start at 12:30. The IIANZ AGM will be prior to this, commencing at 12:00 noon.

Meetings, education day, chapter representation at international ISACA events, etc.

4. Chapter Officers, board and call for volunteers

This is an interim year between the two year election term so there are no standard elections this year, but see 4c. (The chapter officer positions are President, Vice President, Treasurer and Secretary. Next year there will be an election.)

a) Recognition of our volunteers
b) Resignation of Gillian Gainsford from the Vice President position effective at the 2019 AGM and appointment process, by the board, in accordance with the chapter constitution of roles until the next scheduled election cycle (2020).
c) Resignation of Frank van der Zwagg from the Treasurer position effective at the 2019 AGM and next steps (explanation of and special election process). Special thanks to Mike Binkhorst for interim financial support.

5. Call for volunteers

We encourage all members to volunteer to be part of the ISACA chapter organizing committee, potentially leading to board and officer roles. We accordingly invite all those interested to contact a Chapter Officer.

A volunteer area currently identified is to be the chapter web master and the web master back-up person, learn the new ISACA headquarters provided web platform and ultimately move the old web site to the new one. Additional volunteer area identified since the original notice was sent: “SheLeadsTech” chapter coordinator.
